number 10

is done!! hooray :) i'm feeling pretty good today, though it's 2o to 7pm and i'm still at school. stoopid report cards. hate them. anyway, chemo went well. my blood counts are low, but just barely *over* the limit, so no problems :) i've gotten my flu vaccine, and will be getting my h1n1 tomorrow. anyone have any opionions that they'd like to share about getting h1n1 for my girls? it makes me nervous to have to sign a waiver that (as i understand, but have not yet read myself) clears the makers of any responsibility if the vaccine is later found to cause problems... please weigh in!!

i'm going home now. gotta help put the kids in bed, and then crash on the couch for an hour before i give up and go to sleep myself!

yeah! the H1N1 makes me very nervous for Noah and as of now he has not gotten it. Of course neither have I since I do not fall in the high risk catergory. I haven't even been able to find anyplace to get the seasonal flu.
Have a good weekend! yeah!

IF you can probably figure I am very pro vaccination. The question is more if the kids have ever had any type of respiratory infection, asthma etc. If yes than I highly recommend the H1N1. If they usually get the seasonal flu shot - this is similar in thought process. Next year the hope is that this will be in with the seasonal flu vaccine. My concern is that the flu kept spreading in the summer which is unusual and the hope is that it will not happen again.

I fully understand the concern with flu shots for the kids - so taking the above comment into account - if they have ever had a bad reaction to a flu shoot that would cause pause for me.

Glad you are feeling better and stronger.
